Fused Silica Optical Mirrors

Advanced Optics manufactures fused silica optical mirrors for applications that require low thermal expansion, environmental durability, and stable optical performance. Fused silica mirrors are available in precision flatness options and may be supplied with metallic, protected, or custom optical coatings.

Fused silica optical mirrors support the broader range of optical mirrors manufactured by Advanced Optics and may be specified in λ/4, λ/10, or λ/20 flatness options to meet customer requirements. Many mirrors are available in stock for fast turnaround, with custom fabrication available for application-specific needs.

Available coating options include:

• Protected and bare aluminum
• Protected and bare gold
• Protected silver
• Aluminum magnesium fluoride
• Enhanced aluminum (one specifically designed for the visible region of the spectrum and one for the ultraviolet region)
• Custom optical coatings available upon request
