- Fabricate custom sizes and shapes
- Design and supply custom coatings
- Achieve parallelism of < 2 arc seconds
- Modify and resurface customer supplied materials
- Drill holes, notch glass and provide beveled substrates
- Precision polish optics with non-standard aspect ratios
- Provide filters, filter glass and high index glass materials
Fabrication of Custom Sizes and Shapes
Advanced Optics carries an extensive stock of raw optical materials, in-house, that can be cut to your specific dimensions or shaped to meet your exact requirements.
We also have the ability to modify customer supplied materials which can save not only time, but money.
Design and Supply Custom Coatings
Whether you require a metallic, dielectric or anti-reflective coating, Advanced Optics can provide optical coatings optimized to meet your performance requirements from the UV-VIS-IR.
Drill Holes, Notch Glass and Provide Beveled Substrates
Our dedicated team drills custom holes at both 90°and 45°. We maintain tooling to provide custom bevels to round, square and rectangular optics as well as custom shapes.
Polishing
We have the capabilities to polish glass from commercial grade up to λ/20. Our skilled team of craftsman can hold parallelism of > 2 arc seconds, polish convex/concave substrates as well as ovals and ellipses.
Provide Filters, Filter Glass and High Index Glass
Advanced Optics works with a variety of filter glasses as well as high index glasses from Ohara, Schott and CDGM.
